Telling a Story through Dance

Telling a Story through Dance

step one: Preparing, going to the sandpit
Express your feelings thoughts as you wait for the music to begin. set the tone of the dance whether it begins serious or sad, or the anger or fear or happiness. the position of your body, what you are wearing, etc. set the scene, is there anything else in the pit like a cage or pole? again depends on the dance, you wouldn't really mention the pole if you were not going to use it.

step two: The build up
Listening to the music as it begins. letting it flow through you, burn down to your soul. feeling your body either flow with the music, or fighting it depending on the type of dance you are doing. describe the movements of your body, your hair, your eyes. always remember to include your feelings, is your heart racing? do you feel the slave fires beginning to consume you?

step three: The climax
The realization of where the dance is going. feeling the undeniable passion that builds inside. it's like a freedom, as you either feel yourself submit to the control of the Master, accepting your life as slave. or surrendering to your sensuality.

step four: The drop.
The music slowly begins to fade, you move to the one you danced for. to express you realization that you are slave, that you long to submit. begging silently or verbally to be used, yearning nothing more but to please. always end the dance with the phrase ~La Kajira~, meaning i am slavegirl, as a way of letting those watching know that your dance is over.

These are the four basic steps are just basically to give you an idea of what's needed in your dance. This is how tender performs them. It doesn't mean that your dance will be four posts long. It really just depends on how descriptive you are with them. Sometimes tender will use two posts per step or one post for one step but three for another step. It all depends how you write and create your dance.

Remember just as in serving you are painting a picture with your words. You want those reading your words to be able to close there eyes and actually see your movements within their mind. Remember the purpose of a dance is not really to masturbate to music, Although sometimes you are begging to be used and begging for a Master's touch.

There is so much more involved in preparation of a dance. Expressing what your heart feels for the one you dance, assuming you are dancing for your Master or Mistress. These thoughts can be a little more general if you are not dancing for the one that owns you or dancing for the Palace in general. Remember to describe, describe, describe. what do you see around you? what does it do to you to feel the eyes upon you of those that are watching? is your body becoming sweaty from your movements? are your nipples hard? do you feel the passion of the fires thats raging in your slave belly?

step five: Are you breathing heavy? let yourself become emerged in the music.
The most important aspect of any dance is the dancer. Tell a story and entice those that that watch you A girl should ensure that during each movement of her body, it is her body that is telling the tale. Remember always to describe in as much detail as possible those parts of your body that are telling that story having said that, a girl should not write a dance of more than 10 posts. A lengthy dance will risk you sending the audience to sleep.

As you are writing your dance, stop every now and then and reread what you've done. can you picture it clearly in your mind? Perhaps stand up and actually try to do the movements you are doing in the dance, so don't do impossible moves that you know many could not do in real time. Keep your movements sensual, graceful, flowing from one action to the next. Show your work to a trainer, ask for advice, that's what we are here for.

"slave dance, that form of dance, in its thousands of variations, in which a female may excitingly and beautifully, marvelously and fulfilling, express the depths and profundities of her nature. In such dance the woman moves as a female, and shows herself as a female, in all her excitingness and beauty. It is no wonder that women love such dance, in which dance they are so desirable and beautiful, in which dance they feel so free, so sexual, so much a slave." Magicians of Gor, page 44

"It is good for them to get the practice, hearing and seeing men respond them them. That is the way to learn what truly pleases men. In the end, I say, it is men who teach women to dance." Assassin of Gor, page 91 Actresses need only be actresses. They need not be dancers. But she who is a dancer must be more than a dancer.

Tango in More Than Just A Dance
It comes into your life as a simple interest, develops into a nice hobby, slowly grows into an obsession… and gradually becomes your lifestyle…

Tango is not just a combination of pretty steps… it is a bouquet of human emotions - passion, anger, happiness, desire, lust, jealousy, love… interpreted uniquely by each individual person… and expressed on the dance floor…

Our vocabulary is rather limited… there is only so much that you can say in words… You can write pages and pages of romantic letters to the woman that you love, and still have a hard time expressing your true feelings… but a single touch, a sole motion on the dance floor can let her know so much in a single moment! Tango allows you to communicate your feelings and emotions much stronger… you are happy - you dance one way… you are sad or angry - you dance another way! The steps and moves that seem to be the same will come out differently depending on how you feel at that particular moment, what music you are dancing to, and who you are dancing with… Precisely because of that no Tango is ever the same! Every dance is always unique… it is pure improvisation! You may know the steps in your head… but your heart tells you where to move.

Tango brings together people from all walks of life… and erases their differences! It does not matter how old you are… it does not matter who you are or what you do for a living… all that matters is that you want to dance… When You are on the dance floor… nothing else exists around you… You surrender to the music and let it move you… it gets deep inside your heart and your soul, engulfs you completely… captivates you…

Tango is not just a dance… it is a lifestyle… it is distinctive, timeless and everlasting… It spans through decades, continents, nations and people! Tango is a unique culture, rich with history, thrilling and controversial, passionate and mysterious… And with every single song, with every single dance it draws you to it stronger and stronger and makes you want to be part of it more and more…
